Peter Douglas
Master Crooner
The New Blue Eyes
Peter Douglas can be called one of the world’s best impersonators. Since he won the Soundmixshow in 1987 with his imitation of Frank Sinatra, he has been a much sought-after singer, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Peter Douglas has been working for more than 35 years and is still passionate about his profession. The crooner released several albums and his world hits ‘Stars On Frankie’ and ‘Thank You Frank’ will still sound familiar to many. The vocal resemblance has not gone unnoticed by Sinatra’s loved ones: after Peter’s performance during the New York Marathon Run in 1996, his family invited him to attend his idol’s 81st birthday.
Biography
Sinatra literally took Peter from New York to Tokyo and everywhere in between. Belgium and Germany also fell under the spell of ‘The New Blue Eyes’. He performed in well-known TV shows by Rudy Carell, Harald Junke and Carl Dahl, among others, and played with the famous orchestras of Hugo Strasser and Klaus Hallen. He also sang various radio and TV commercials for brands such as Heineken and Lotto.
His impressive career has made Peter Douglas what he is today: a top-shelf entertainer with a wealth of experience, an impeccable sense of style and a killer voice!
The crooner proves that the cake is far from over by participating in the SBS6 TV program ‘The Tribute – Battle Of The Bands’ together with the BOSCO jazz & pop orchestra in 2024.
In this popular program, Peter took fourth place and thus a place in the line-up of the Ziggo Dome during the Tribute live in Concert with no fewer than four sold-out shows!
In addition, he will perform his own show with the BOSCO jazz & pop orchestra in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on August 14, a dream come true. With this show he is literally following in the footsteps of Frank Sinatra himself, who gave his first NL show there in 1975.

“Quotes”
I was the chairman of the jury and I let myself go...
Something happened. Because what I saw and heard was astonishing: his creation of the young Frank Sinatra. Strong and convincing. He still is, as I recently discovered. And for those who want to hear it: the best sound mixer in the history of the show.
Good luck my friend❤️
